Mathew currently serves as the Vice President of Finance, Operations and Procurement for OpenText, the global leader in Enterprise Information Management. OpenText enables the digital world by simplifying, transforming, and accelerating enterprise information needs, on premises or in the cloud. In his role, Mathew reports to the CFO and has oversight for the Opportunity-to-Cash and Source-to-Pay lifecycles globally.

In his prior role, Mathew was Head of Corporate Sourcing, Procurement & Payables for BlackBerry Limited, a world leader in mobile communications. In this role, Mathew created a new Procurement organization elevating capabilities and influence across BlackBerry. As part of the Company’s turnaround, he built a global organization that is more closely aligned with business units and finance, is deeply embedded in the business and is driving sustainable value, total cost of ownership strategies, improved working capital, enhanced vendor relationships, more predictive planning and transformation objectives for the Company.

Most recently, Mathew received the Transformation Award, as well as the 2013 Future Procurement Leader Award by Procurement Leaders in London UK, recognized for his leadership and innovative thinking in the procurement profession. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of Guelph.

Mathew is also a husband, father of three and an avid road cyclist.
