Maya Walker, part of the Canada Post Executive team as Director of Sourcing Management, has been growing her procurement experiences over the last 17 years. At Canada Post, Maya has lead highly visible and complex procurement programs including IT Infrastructure and Support for the Group of Companies, and all goods and services for Canada Post’s recent Community Mailbox conversion program. Prior to joining Canada Post in 2006, Maya started her supply chain career working in the international development space managing complex supply projects in the developing world; sourcing, kitting, and delivering voter registration and election kits for elections worldwide. Her career progressed to the IT community, managing key procurement outsourcing accounts, including Nortel and Bombardier Transportation, across Canada, US, Brazil and Mexico. Maya has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Ottawa and is a certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP).
