Tim Herrod

Tim Herrod, CPA, CA of Saskatoon, Canada has served in a number of diverse roles in his 10-plus years at PotashCorp, and was appointed Vice President, Procurement effective September 1, 2015. Previous positions included Senior Director, Global Sourcing – MRO & Capital; Director, Treasury; and Manager, Investor Relations. He has also maintained leadership roles in major corporate initiatives including representing PotashCorp in the development of the Global Institute for Food Security (GIFS) at the University of Saskatchewan. 

He sits on the board of Ag-West Bio Inc., Saskatchewan’s bioscience industry association and bioeconomy catalyst that works with innovators and investors to help bring research to market, and on CPA Canada’s Strategy, Management Accounting and Finance Advisory Board. 

Prior to joining PotashCorp, Tim worked for three years as a financial analyst for Saskferco Products (now Yara) a private nitrogen fertilizer company in Regina, SK. Previous to this he obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation in Regina at Ernst & Young LLP and worked at the Regina KPMG LLP office as a manager in its assurance practice.
